Vice President Joe Biden was in York County today.
Biden was in Fort Mill this afternoon at a private reception where he spoke to about 125 people at the White Homestead. The talk was for the benefit of democratic candidate Fran Person, the Democratic Candidate for the 5th congress.
Person has worked under Joe Biden for 8 years.
Afterwards Biden made a surprise quick trip to Downtown Rock Hill where he met some supporters at Five and Dine. Traffic was held up as Main Street was blocked and helicopters hovered overhead.
Biden left around 3:45 pm.
