For the 7th time since 2005, W-R-H-I was selected as the radio station of the year Saturday night during the South Carolina Broadcasters Association annual awards banquet in Columbia.
In addition, parent company OTS Media also won the Richard Uray Service Project of the Year award for Toys for Happiness.
Chris Miller is the vice president of OTS Media.
“Toys for Happiness last year brought in over $300,000 in value with some 30,000 toys. A big thank you goes to the York County community, because that’s who was really the group behind this. Our listeners are who got behind it, did it and were able to donate the toys.”
OTS Media won a total of eight awards from the S-C-B-A.
