South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster Friday afternoon launched phase 2 of the plan to reopen restaurants around the state of South Carolina. Phase 2 allows indoor seating at restaurants, allowing up to 50% occupancy.
Condiments must be removed from the table and social distancing must be practiced. Last Friday McMaster announced that restaurants could begin seating customers outdoors.
Phase 2 goes into effect Monday at 12:01 am.
McMaster said he hopes to address the plans for close contact businesses such as salons and gyms as soon as Monday.
