SC-DHEC is reporting 135 additional cases of the coronavirus, bringing the state total to 6,757. Of those new cases 1 is from York County. There were no new cases in Chester or Lancaster Counties.
SC-DHEC is also reporting 8 additional deaths. Six of those deaths occurred in elderly individuals in Clarendon (1), Greenville (2), Horry (1), and Richland (2) counties, and two occurred in middle-aged individuals from Clarendon (1) and Marlboro (1) counties.
The state’s death total is now 283.
