4,417 people were tested for the coronavirus in South Carolina on Wednesday and 6.6% tested positive. The number is the lowest it has been since June 4th when 5.5% tested positive.
Numbers remained below 300 as SC-DHEC announced 264 new cases. York County had 11, Lancaster County had 3 and Chester County had 3.
SC-DHEC also announced 24 additional deaths. The number included an elderly York Co. individual. The death total is now 2,823.
