An arrest has been made in the shooting of a girl from Rock Hill was shot late Wednesday outside an apartment complex in Fort Mill last week. The shooting happened around 11 p.m.Wednesday in a parking lot at an apartment complex near Forest Ridge Road st U.S. 21.
A 16-year-old male from Chester was arrested Friday and is being charged with attempted murder according to Maj. Bryan Zachary of the Fort Mill Police Department.
The suspects name has not been released and he is being held at the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia, The victim, who has not been identified, was shot in the abdomen and underwent surgery and is expected to recover.
