After removing the Police Memorial just two days ago, the city of Tega Cay has reinstated it in full. The memorial, which was a private donation, originally contained the policeman’s prayer, which had the word Lord in multiple spots. After multiple phone calls and emails from concerned citizens, the city made the decision to remove the word Lord from the memorial. Then on Wednesday, after continued pushback on both sides, the city removed the memorial. Fast forward to today and the city has put the memorial back up with the word “Lord” put back on the memorial. Below is the full release from the City of Tega Cay.
