Construction work to repave Cherry Road between Alumni Drive and Deas Street will begin on Monday and last until November of 2019. There will be lane closures and traffic delays during the time of construction.
To avoid delays, alternate routes should be taken. The project was included on the Pennies for Progress 4 referendum that was approved by the voters in November of 2017.
This project is being managed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
