York County Economic Development Director David Swenson said Eclipse Automation will be bringing 90 jobs to Rock Hill over the next 5 years and 50 of those 90 jobs will be transfers from their Charlotte location. According to Swenson, two-thirds of the transfers were already South Carolina residents.
The company will invest 4.6 million dollars into their new 57,000-square-foot facility located in the Waterford Business Park. The facility is projected to come online in March of this year.
A $150,000 Set Aside grant was also awarded to York County to assist with costs associated with the project.
