The Rock Hill School District hosted a Summit on School Safety last night at Sullivan Middle School. The Summit was designed to create a dialogue between parents and District officials on how to best protect their children. Rock Hill Schools Director of Security Kevin Wren said it starts with building relationships.
Wren said although multiple Rock Hill students have been found with weapons on their property in the past year…the fact that they were reported to the School Resource Officer and the issue was resolved peacefully is a victory.
