Warming Centers around York County will be reopening within the next 2 weeks. The United Way of York County is partnering with Bethel United Methodist Church to offer relief from the cold.
This is the 12th winter that United way will assist with this vital program designed to serve the homeless. Last year the center served over 175 unduplicated men.
The United Way also supports the Salvation Army Warming Center that aims to provide a safe haven for homeless women in York County.
The Men’s Warming Center at Bethel United Methodist Church will open each night at 6 pm starting on November 11th and the Women’s warming Center will be at the Salvation Army in Rock Hill and open each night at 6 pm starting on November 16th.
