The York County Sheriff’s Office announced today that with assistance from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department they arrested and charged eight more individuals in connection to the September 19, 2018, shooting incident on Drewsky Lane in Fort Mill including two shooting victims. Charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime wereKeanu Camacho, 20, Kwantavius Howze, 17, Willis Lane, 19 and Andrae Smith, 18, all of Charlotte, NC. Also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful carry of a pistol were the two shooting victims, Isaiah Kersey, 18, Makayla Renee Moyler, 18, both of Charlotte, and Dorian Price, 21, and Eddie Kue’ron Davis, 22, also of Charlotte. All eight suspects are currently being held in the Mecklenburg County Detention Center. Khristain Sandi Kemokia, 18, of Charlotte and Justin Michael Hull, 17, also of Charlotte were also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful carry of a pistol and are currently being held in the York County Detention Center. All 10 people involved are affiliated with the Bloods Gang. Lane and Camacho have waived extradition in Charlotte and will be transported to the York County Detention Center at a later time. The investigation in this case in ongoing.
