22-year-old Dequayvius Berry has been charged after his 15-month-old daughter fell to the ground while the man choked his mother during an argument.
Berry has been charged with child neglect and assault and battery. Berry was holding the child during the time of the assault. The incident occurred Friday night and was arrested late Monday.
The child was not hurt in the fall. Berry was also charged with malicious damage to property after allegedly throwing a cinderblock through a car window and damaging a house wall.
Berry remains jailed under a $12,125 bond.
