The Superintendent-elect for the Rock Hill School District Dr. Bill Cook announced yesterday that Cynthia Robinson, who has served as the interim principal at Castle Heights Middle School, has been promoted to her first principalship.
Robinson began her teaching career in Rock Hill as a family and consumer sciences teacher at Castle Heights in 1993. In 2005, she moved to South Pointe High School where she served in the same capacity for 6 years.
Robinson returned to Castle Heights in 2011 as an assistant principal, a role she held until February when she was named interim principal. She has twice been named a school level teacher of the year.
