To ensure all South Carolina communities are positioned for success, the S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) has approved grant assistance for 23 projects, totaling more than $10 million.
York County has been awarded 500-thousand dollars for the construction of a water tank. The construction of the tank will be just off US 21 North across from the entrance to Regent Park.
The access road will come off Baxter Circle. These awards bring the number of projects awarded to 51 in fiscal year 2018, totaling $22 million.
The projects funded will result in increased water and sewer system capacity and stormwater drainage improvements.
