United Way of York County announced in a press release today that they have been chosen to receive $100,784 under the Emergency Food and Shelter Program to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in York County.
The selection was made by a National Board that is chaired by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency.
A Local Board facilitated by United Way of York County, SC will now determine how the funds are to be distributed to eligible non-profits in York County.

Completed applications are due no later than noon on May 8, 2018.
