Winthrop students will be pitching their innovative business ideas to a panel of judges this evening for $3,500 worth of cash prizes. The 4th Annual College Student Innovation Competition kicked off last Thursday when the student teams met to review the rules and process for the competition.
An optional Coaching Night was held on Monday evening before the Friday Pitch Night, where participating student teams received coaching and guidance from business professionals.
The event was planned and coordinated by the Winthrop Student Activities Office and the Technology Incubator at Knowledge Park. The pitch event will be held at 7:30 PM in Dina’s Place at Winthrop University.
The event is free and open to the public.
